  17.       daemon to reread the license file.  This can be useful if
  18.       the data in the license file has changed; the    new data can
  19.       be loaded into the license daemon without shutting down and
  20.       restarting it.

  22.       llllmmmmrrrreeeerrrreeeeaaaadddd uses    the license file from the command line (or the
  23.       default file,    if none    specified) only    to find    the license
  24.       daemon to send it the    command    to reread the license file.
  25.       The license daemon will always reread    the original file that
  26.       it loaded.  If you need to change the    path to    the license
  27.       file read by the license daemon, then    you must shut down the
  28.       daemon and restart it    with that new license file path.

  30.       You can not use lmreread if the SERVER node names or port
  31.       numbers have been changed in the license file.  In this
  32.       case,    you must shut down the daemon and restart it in    order
  33.       for those changes to take effect.

  35.       llllmmmmrrrreeeerrrreeeeaaaadddd does    not change any option information specified in
  36.       an options file.  If the new license file specifies a
  37.       different options file, that information is ignored.    If you
  38.       need to reread the options file, you must shut down the
  39.       daemon and restart it.  NOTE:    In FFFFLLLLEEEEXXXXllllmmmm v2.4 and later,
  40.       llllmmmmrrrreeeerrrreeeeaaaadddd is either a link or a copy of the llllmmmmuuuuttttiiiillll program.

  44.             Use    the specified license_file.  If    this switch is

  48.             /usr/local/flexlm/licenses/license.dat.  If    no -c
  49.             option is specified, llllmmmmrrrreeeerrrreeeeaaaadddd looks    for the
  50.             environment    variable LM_LICENSE_FILE in order to
  51.             find the license file to use.  If that environment
  52.             variable is    not set, llllmmmmrrrreeeerrrreeeeaaaadddd looks    for the    file
